Feeling is believing. 30-day return policy.

Free your hands to free your mind.

Rigid rectangles and straight rows dictate your position — hands turned inward, wrists bent outward, shoulders pulled forward, fingers reaching. The NUIO Flow Keyboard's wireless, split design lets you align your tools to you — not the other way around. And with the QWERTY layout you already know, you can focus on what matters most — your ideas.

Engineered for health.

We believe a healthier work experience is in the details. Three decisions that make the Flow Keyboard different — from the very first keystroke.

01 — Comfortable. By Design.

Most keyboards force you to adapt to them. The Flow Keyboard was designed around the body from the start:

  • A radial key layout that puts every key where your fingertips naturally fall
  • Two halves that rotate to keep your wrists and forearms aligned
  • Wireless, so you can open the chest and shoulders.

And because no two bodies match, all of it adjusts — width, angle, position — at a sitting desk or a standing one.

02 — QWERTY, right where you left it

Many ergonomic keyboards rearrange the key grid itself — which can mean months of retraining, and hands that stumble the moment you go back to a laptop. The Flow Keyboard keeps the QWERTY layout you already know. Pull it out of the box, sit down, and type: most people are comfortable within a few days and back to full speed within one to two weeks — and your laptop still feels like home.

03 — Custom to the core.

Off-the-shelf parts can't follow your anatomy — so we engineered our own custom keyboard module: quiet, low-profile scissor keys with laptop-class travel, placed exactly where your fingers fall. Dedicated Mac and Windows versions, so it fits your system as precisely as it fits your hands. And a fit and finish designed to be the best-made thing on your desk.

Built for work.

Wireless, with freely positioned halves. No cable dictating your setup — the two halves go where your shoulders want them.

Quiet, low-profile scissor keys. Not a mechanical keyboard — a laptop-class feel, without the laptop-class cramp, quiet enough for calls and shared rooms.

Made for your system. Dedicated Mac and Windows versions, pairs with up to 3 devices, works with macOS Tahoe — switch machines without re-pairing.

Designed by the former Head of Input at Apple.

Tom Wilson started his career at Frog Design, then spent 12 years at Apple — three of them as Head of Input Hardware, responsible for the keyboards, trackpads, and mice used by hundreds of millions of people. From there he went on to Google, continuing a career spent designing the input tools people use every day.

Across all of it, he kept running into the same problem: the flat, rigid keyboard hasn't fundamentally changed since the typewriter, and our bodies are paying for it.

The Flow Keyboard is his answer — a keyboard designed around the human hand, not the other way around.

Questions we hear about split keyboards...

Is a split keyboard hard to learn?

Less than you'd think — the Flow Keyboard keeps a familiar QWERTY layout, so you're not relearning how to type. Most people are comfortable within a few days and back to full typing speed within one to two weeks. Many feel the difference — shoulders dropping, chest opening — in the first day. Our 30-day window gives you time to get through the adjustment and judge it on comfort, not novelty. See how setup works in our five-step guide.

Does it work with Mac and Windows?

Yes — and not as an afterthought: there are dedicated Mac and Windows versions, so keys sit where your system expects them. It pairs with up to 3 devices, so you can switch between machines without re-pairing.

Is it wireless?

Yes. The two halves position freely — no cable between them dictating your setup — and move between sitting and standing desks without reconfiguration.

Is it loud?

No — the Flow Keyboard uses quiet, low-profile scissor-switch keys, closer to a great laptop keyboard than a mechanical one. Comfortable for open offices, calls, and shared spaces.

How far apart should the halves go?

Start at shoulder width — hands in line with your shoulders, wrists straight — then rotate each half until your wrists sit naturally. Because both halves adjust freely, the right position is the one your body settles into.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Return it within 30 days. Keep the original packaging; returns carry a 10% restocking fee ($39.90) — that's the full extent of your risk. If you feel the difference, you'll know. If you don't, send it back.

Thirty days at your desk.
Then decide.

Work a full month on the Flow Keyboard — through the long weeks, the deadline days, the afternoons where tension usually wins. If you don't feel the difference in your shoulders and your focus, return it.
