What countries do you ship to?
All NUIO products are currently only available in the United States. However, we are rapidly expanding the list of countries we ship to. What kind of warranty do you offer on your products?

Where is my serial number?
The serial number for your keyboard or trackpad is located on the bottom case. You may also find the serial number inside the NUIO App when you select your keyboard or trackpad from the home screen.

Can the products be brought on an airplane?
Yes, all NUIO products can be brought on a plane.

Are the products recyclable?
Our products are recyclable. For example, the enclosure of our keyboard and trackpad are made of aluminum that can be recycled.

Yes, our packaging is recyclable.

Why is your packaging so minimal?
We purposefully designed our packaging to be minimal in order to reduce our environmental footprint. For example, our Keyboard and Trackpad product come with their own case, creating purposeful packaging that not only protects during shipping, but can be used to carry your NUIO products when on the go.

Is real leather used in any of the NUIO products?
No, leather is NOT used in the production of our products.

Which products make the best System?
We have designed a modular system of components that can be combined based on your personal preferences. A good base system is a simple pairing of the NUIO Flow Keyboard and Flow Trackpad. Take it to the next level by adding precise positioning with our Deskpad and the premium comfort of our Wristpads. Finally, you can incorporate more angle and positioning options by adding the NUIO Stands which allow you effortlessly move the Keyboard and Trackpad into your comfort zone.

Do I need to use all NUIO products to make a “System”?
No, you do not need to exclusively use NUIO products in your work space. The NUIO Flow Keyboard and Flow Trackpad are designed to stand alone, but work best when used together.

Can I use my own mouse or trackpad with the NUIO keyboard?
Yes, you can use any mouse or trackpad with the Flow Keyboard. The Flow Keyboard is designed to stand alone, but works best when used together with other NUIO products.

Does the keyboard have mechanical keys?
No, the NUIO Flow Keyboard does not use mechanical keys.

Can you customize the keys?
A limited amount of key customization can be done through the operating system on your device.

What layout does the keyboard use?
The keyboard uses a standard QWERTY layout.The keyboard design provides a unique radial and dimensional layout putting most keys closer to where your fingers naturally fall.

What key mechanism does the keyboard use?
The NUIO keyboard uses a scissor mechanism for each key.

Does the Flow Keyboard for Windows/Dual OS have different legends?
Yes, the Flow Keyboard for Windows does have it's own custom keycaps set. Here's what it looks like:
Connectivity

How do I connect the NUIO Flow Keyboard to my device?
The NUIO Flow Keyboard is easy to set up. Just turn on the power, then simply pair it to your device by using the Bluetooth menu. See the User Guides for more details.

How do I unpair the Flow Keyboard from my device?
Press the Bluetooth key to pair or unpair the NUIO Keyboard from your device for each channel position of the On/Off Switch. See the User Guides for more details.

How can I troubleshoot a connection issue?
Follow these steps:
1) Does the NUIO Keyboard show up in the Bluetooth menu of the device you are trying to connect with? If yes, please select the device to connect it. If not, please continue to step 2.
2) On right keyboard, make sure power switch is on and in position 1, 2 or 3. Once you are sure the power switch is on, press the Bluetooth key to force the Flow Keyboard into pairing mode. It should appear in the Bluetooth menu of the device you are trying to connect to. Select the NUIO Keyboard to connect it to your device. If it does not show up in the Bluetooth menu, please move on to step 3.
3) Can you pair the Flow Keyboard to another device? If you cannot pair with another device, please move to step 4.
4) Look at status lights on the NUIO keyboard to make sure they are green. If either one is solid orange, press the reset button (with suppied reset tool) on both the right and left Keyboards. Once the reset button has been pressed on both Keyboards, please repeat steps 1-4 to connect the NUIO Flow Keyboard to your device.If you are still having troubles connecting, try our User Guides or contact us.

Will Keyboard operate with just the USB-C cable as a connection & Bluetooth turned off?
No, the Flow Keyboard will not operate with Bluetooth turned off. The provided USB-C cable only supports power and does not transfer data from the Keyboard to the host device.

What is the Bluetooth range of the Flow Keyboard?
In clear space, the NUIO Flow Keyboard can connect up to a range of around 30 feet. Obstructions, like walls or other objects, between the Keyboard and the host device will cause the connection range to be a shorter distance.

What OS can I use the Flow Keyboard with?
The NUIO Keyboard works with Mac and Windows. More specifically:
- Bluetooth-enabled Mac computer with M acOS 14.7 or later
- Bluetooth-enabled PC with Windows 11 or later
Battery and Charging

How do I charge the Flow Keyboard?
To charge your Flow Keyboard, use the supplied USB-C cable to connect both sides of the Flow Keyboard to the USB-C port on your computer. For more details, please see the User Guides.

How long does it take to charge?
The charge time for the Flow Keyboard can vary based on a variety of factors. Also the right and left sides will likely have different levels of battery when you begin charging. We recommend charging your Flow keyboard overnight to bring it to 100% battery charge.

How long does the battery last per charge?
On average, the battery of the NUIO Flow Keyboard can last up to 28 days. If you use the backlight up to 4 hours a day, the battery will last around 10 days.

How much battery do I have left?
There are two ways to see how much battery life you have left on your Flow Keyboard.
1) Look at Bluetooth menu on the OS of your device to see the remaining charge on each half of the Keyboard.
2) If not actively using the Keyboard on a device, you can view remaining battery life by pressing the Battery Indicator button on the bottom of the right and left Keyboard. Please note that each half of the keyboard may have different battery levels.
- 0 Lights = 0% charged
- 1 light = 1% - 20% charged
- 2 lights = 21-40%
- 3 lights = 40-60%
- 4 lights = 60-80%
- 5 lights = 80-100%

Will charging work with any USB-C cable?
Yes, any USB-C cable can be used to charge the Flow Keyboard.

What can I use to charge my Flow Keyboard?
To charge your Flow Keyboard, use a USB-C power supply. Apple computers work great, but if you’re using a third-party charger and notice any charging issues, make sure you’re plugged into a dedicated charger, not a USB hub.

Can you operate the Flow Keyboard while charging?
Yes, you can operate the Keyboard while charging it.
Backlighting

Does the Flow Keyboard have backlighting?
Yes, the Flow Keyboard has backlit keys for working in low-light or no-light environments.

How do I turn on and adjust the Keyboard backlighting?
Press the F4 key to turn the keyboard backlight on. You can adjust the brightness keyboard backlight incrementally by using the F3 and F4 keys. Use the F4 key to increase brightness and use F3 to reduce brightness and turn off the backlight. See more details in the User Guides.

Are you able to change backlight color?
No, the color of the backlight cannot be changed.
Language Support

What languages does the Flow Keyboard support?
The Flow Keyboard is currently only available with US English key legends. However, we are rapidly expanding the languages we support. If you would like to be updated when we support a specific language, please provide your language preference and email address below and we will keep you informed as it becomes available.

Does the Keyboard store or transmit the information that you type?
We strongly believe in the right to privacy. As such, the NUIO Flow Keyboard does not store or transmit the information that you type. For additional details about privacy, please see our Privacy Policy.
Repair

What is the lifetime of the internal battery?
The minimum lifetime of the Keyboard batteries is 2 years.

Is the battery user replaceable?
No, the batteries for the Flow Keyboard are not user replaceable. However, you can send us your Flow Keyboard for battery replacement. Please contact us (support@hellonuio.com) for full details.

Are key caps replaceable?
Yes, the keycaps are replaceable. Please contact us (support@hellonuio.com) to purchase a new keycaps set.

Is the Deskpad foldable or rollable?
No, the NUIO Deskpad is not foldable or rollable. The Deskpad is rigid which creating a stable working platform.

Can you position the Flow Keyboard anywhere on the Deskpad?
Yes, the Flow Keyboard can be positioned anywhere on the Deskpad, even when using the NUIO Stands.
